The Availability of HBsAg and anti-HBs tested by Hemagglutination method in screen tests

Abstract
Background:
@EN Hepatitis B virus induces acute viral hepatitis and few of cases are associated with chronic hepatitis, liver cirrosis, hepatocellular carcinoma. To decrease viral hepatitis B infection. People are tested liver enzyme (AST ALT). HBsAg and
anti-HBs.
In usually screen test of HBsAg and Anti-HBs are bested by Hemagglutination method But screen test has some merits and some demerits (less sensitive and specific than EIA method) The demerits are that can not detect low level of HBsAg (a
low-level
carrier, acute hepatitis and chronic hepatitis) and is apt to be misdiagnosised. We select 100 cases with normal range of AST and ALT, and all negative results of HBsAg and anti-HBs by hemagglutination method And compared the hemagglutination
method
result with the EIA method result, respectively.
@ES Methods:
@EN We selected 1400 cases of both AST and ALT are normal range, and both HBsAg and anti-HBs (Hemagglutination method) are negative result And then we rested HBsAg and anti-HBsAg EIA method.
@ES Results:
@EN the results of HBsAg tested by EIA method were 100 cases negative. And the results of anti-Hba by EIA method were 88 cases negative and 12 cases positive result.
@ES Conclusions:
@EN On under the normal range of AST and ALT, the negative result of both HBsAg and Anti-HBs (Hemagglutination method) are concluded to be health. So we think hemagglutination method is good to screen test.
